Bear S i r : The Board requests the Governors of the Federal Reserve Banks to meet in i t s Assembly Room i n the Metropolitan Bank Building in Washington on the morning of Tuesday, April 12th, f o r a conference with the f e d e r a l Reserve Board. A l i s t of subjects which the BoaM d e s i r e s to discuss with the Governors w i l l be transmitted to each Governor i n due course. Matters which r e l a t e more p a r t i c u l a r * l y to routine and f i s c a l agency operations w i l l be discussed separately at conferences i n which the Board w i l l not p a r t i c i p a t e . Each Governor i s invited to send to t h i s o f f i c e a l i s t of any topics which he may wish to have discussed a t the conference with the Federal Reserve Board, and to Mr. Benjamin Strong, Governor of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a l i s t of the topics r e l a t i n g to routine and f i s c a l agency matters which he d e s i r e s to have considered a t the Governors 1 conference. I t i s expected t h a t the conferences can be concluded by the afternoon of Friday, April 15th. The Board wil f l be pleased to make such h o t e l reservations as may be requested.
