Dear S i r : As you will r e c a l l your monthly report of deposits of member banks, form St. f o r January 1931, was accompanied, as requested in Board's l e t t e r St. 6751 of October 6, 1930, with & l i s t of c i t i e s added to or deducted from the population group under 15,000, together with figures of net demand and time deposits in each of such c i t i e s during the month of January. 6o44 The e f f e c t of the change to the 1930 census basis on the figures of deposits of member "banks in centers having a population under 15,000 was somewhat greater than had been anticipated and i t i s believed, , therefore, that figures on the old basis should be available throughout the current year. I t w i l l be appreciated, therefore, if your current monthly r e ports for June to December are accompanied with s t a t e ments similar to the one accompanying your January r e port and if in addition, at your convenience, you will furnish a statement showing l i k e information for February to May, inclusive.
