Data for 193d Annual Report of the
Federal Reserve Board

Dear Sir:
It will be appreciated if you will kindly furnish us with the following
data for use in the Board's forthcoming annual report:
1. Statement showing the number of member banks in each State (or
part of State in the district) accommodated through the
discount of paper during each month of the calendar year 193^
and during the year as a whole.
2. Statement showing the number of nonmember banks other than
mutual savings banks (whether or not under State supervision)
on the par list and not on par list, respectively, an Dec­
ember 31. 193 d, with separate figures for each state or part
of state in the district, also, in the case of Federal Re­
serve banks that operate branches, for the zone or territory
assigned to the head office of the Federal reserve bank and
to each branch thereof. The statement should include all
banks on which checks are drawn, whether licensed or not, and
should be made out in the following form:
Number of nonmember banks, other than mutual savings banks
in district;
On par list:
Banks under State supervision
Private banks not under State supervision




Net on par list:
Banks under State supervision
Private banks not under State supervision
