Dear Sir:
Transmitted herewith are forecasts of the production
of corn, wheat, cotton and oats for 1920» issued by the Bureau
of Crop Estimates as of October 1, 1920.

These f o r e c a s t s are

shown for each Federal Reserve D i s t r i c t and compared with the
September 1 forecast and the estimated production for 1919.
The statement does not show any f i g u r e s f o r winter
wheat and hay, the September 1 estimates for these crops r e maining unchanged.
