SUBJECT: Holidays during January, 1930.
Dear Sir:
On Hew Year's Day, there will be neither Gold Settlement
Fund nor Federal reserve note clearing, and the o f f i c e s of the
Federal Reserve Board will "be closed..
In addition to the Hew Year's holiday, the following Federal reserve banks and "branches will observe holidays during
the month of January:

Atlanta
Birmingham
Nashville
Jacksonville
Louisville

Therefore, on the dates indicated, the banks a f f e c t e d w i l l
not p a r t i c i p a t e in either the Gold Fund clearing or the Federal
reserve note clearing. Please include your credits for the banks
a f f e c t e d on each of the holidays with your credits for the following business day in your Gold Fund clearing telegrams, and make
no shipment of Federal reserve notes, f i t or u n f i t , for account of
the Federal Reserve Banks of "Richmond or "Atlanta on January 20th.
