Dear Sir: In connection with telegraphic transactions between Federal reserve banks covering Government securities, the following code words have been designated to cover new issues of Treasury Notes and Treasury Bonds: "NOtfKYNE" - 1 3/8% Treasury Notes, Series B-1941, to be dated and to bear interest from June 15, 1936, and to mature June 15, 1941. "NOWCORN" - 2 3/455 Treasury Bonds of 1951-54, to be dated and to bear interest from June 15, 1936, and to mature June 15, 1954.
