Code Words Covering New Issues of
Treasury Notes and Treasury Bonds.

Dear Sir:
In connection with telegraphic transactions between
Federal reserve banks covering Government securities, the
following code words have been designated to cover new issues
of Treasury Notes and Treasury Bonds:
"NOtfKYNE" - 1 3/8% Treasury Notes, Series
B-1941, to be dated and to bear
interest from June 15, 1936, and
to mature June 15, 1941.
"NOWCORN" - 2 3/455 Treasury Bonds of
1951-54, to be dated and to
bear interest from June 15, 1936,
and to mature June 15, 1954.
These code words should be inserted in the Federal Reserve Telegraph Code book, on page 172.
