Dear Sir: In connection with telegraphic transactions between Federal reserve banks covering Government securities, the following code words have been designated to cover new issues of Treasury Notes and Treasury Bonds: "NOWKUY" - 1 1/2% Treasury Notes, Series A-1941, ta be dated and to bear interest from March 16, 1936, and to mature March 15, 1941. "NOWCOPA" - 2 3/4% Treasury Bonds of 1948-51, to be dated and to bear interest from March 16, 1956, and to mature March 15, 1951.
