New Issues of Treasury Notes and
Treasury Certificates of Indebtedness*

Dear Sir:
In connection with telegraphic transactions between
Federal reserve banks covering Government securities, the
following code words have been designated to cover new issues of Treasury Notes and Treasury Certificates of Indebtedness:

NOWHYSONn 2-g% Treasury Notes, Series C-1935, to be
dated January 29, 1934, and to mature
March 15, 1935.

"N0T/8H0B0RD" 1^/5 Treasury Certificates of Indebtedness
Series TS-1934, to be dated January 29,
1934, and to mature September 15, 1934.
These code words should be inserted in the Federal
Reserve Telegraphic Code book, on page 172.
