Holidays During February, 1937

Dear Sir:
The Board of Governors is advised that on Tuesday, February 9,
the Birmingham and New Orleans Branches of the Federal Reserve Bank of
Atlanta will be closed in observance of Mardi Gras Day in Alabama and
Louisiana. Please include transit clearing credits of February 9 for
the New Orleans Branch with your credits for the following day.
On Friday, February 12, Lincoln's Birthday, the books of the
Board's Interdistrict Settlement Fund will be closed and there will be
neither transit nor Federal Reserve note clearing through the fund.
For your information, the Board is advised that the following Federal
Reserve banks and branches will be open for business on February 12:
Boston
Richmond
Baltimore
Charlotte

Atlanta
Birmingham
Jacksonville
New Orleans

St. Louis
Little Rock
Kansas City
Oklahoma City

On Monday, February 22, Washington's Birthday, the offices of
the Board of Governors and all Federal Reserve banks and branches
will be closed.
On Wednesday, February 24, the Havana Agency of the Federal
Reserve Bank of Atlanta will be closed in observance of the anniversary of "Grito de Baire".
Please notify branches.
