Code Word to "be used in advices re transact ioftii in Bank of England account.

Dear Sir;
In order to reduce the length of telegrams
between the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and other
Federal reserve banks in connection with participation
in the Bank of England account, the Federal Reserve
Board has approved, e f f e c t i v e at once, the following
code word to be used in connection with these transactions:
KNABBLE: Please credit us and debit Due from
Foreign Banks-Bank of England account
$
representing additional
participation due you as a r e s u l t of
increment from earnings.
This code word should be inserted in the
Federal Reserve Telegraph Code book following the supplemental code word "KLICKED1' at the bottom of page
131.
There are enclosed hereWitk & S u f f i c i e n t number of extra copies Of t h i s l e t t e r to enable you to ins e r t t h i s code word in a l l of the code books in the possession of your bank.
