Mr- Cabell Chadwick,
4622 South 6th Street,
Louisville, Kentucky.
Dear Mr. Chadwick:
This is to thank you for your letter of
December 26th with reference to my recent reply to
Senator Byrd. It was encouraging to have your coimments.
You confirm what I have heard from many
other sources that there are countless abie, deserving men unable to find, but infinitely preferring,
employment in private enterprise. Until MUQU employment is provided, I agree that the government has a
responsibility to use these citizens in useful public
works.
I wanted you to know that I appreciated
hearing from you.
Sincerely yours,

M. S. Eccles,
Chairman.
