Dear Mr. Eccles: We were delighted to receive your acceptance of our invi tation to speak informally before the University’ s Business and Professional Men's Group on Friday evening, March 20, on the subject "Current Economic and Banking Problems." I know that the members of this group will also be both pleased and honored when they hear of your acceptance. As you requested, we shall be glad to be guided by your wishes with respect to the honorarium. When you are here, we can suggest several educational projects, one of which you might care to select to receive your worthwhile gift. If it is agreeable to you, I shall write you again early in March giving you information concerning the progress of the series up to that time and discussing other details concerning the arrangements for your visit.
