Dear Mr. Eccles:
Before I left Washington last
Thursday, I overlooked discussing with
you your forthcoming trip to Cincinnati.
Understanding that you have definitely
agreed to address the Cincinnati University
Forum on Friday, March 27, I have arranged
for a luncheon to be held on that day at
12:30 o'clock.
We had all plans made for the
luncheon to be held on Friday, March 20,
but merely postponed it until the 27th.
We expect to have the same num
ber present on the 27th as were invited
for the 20th.
I hope that this meets with
your approval.
I expect to arrive at the
Netherland-rPlaza Hotel Hotel on the
morning of the 27th, and still hope to
have the pleasure of taking breakfast
with you before you visit our Branch
or meet with any of the bankers. If
this does not fit in with your plans,
I shall appreciate it if you will advise
me.
With kind regards, I
Yours very sincs^4ljr. /y
M . J . Fleming,

Hon. H. S. Eccles,
Chairman,
Board of Governors of th<
Federal Reserve System,
Washington, D. C.

/'/President.

Arrangements outlined in your letter are agreeable
to me. However, from the account of flood condi
tions I understand that my train may be late in
arriving at Cincinnati.
