Mr. Marriner S. Eccles
c/o Federal Reserve
Washington D.C.
Dear Sir:
I am a Rosary College(River Forest, Illinois) senior
majoring in Economics. I am making a study of the recent
Federal Reserve - Treasury Department controversy over
management of the Federal Debt for a course in Public
Finance. The subject interests me in all its ramifications, and I must say thus far I am biased in favor of
the Federal Reserve point of view.
I would deeply appreciate any help you might give me
in the way of copies of yours speeches or material you
have published on the matter.

If possible, I wmild be

grateful if such material could be sent at once since my
paper i3 due in about two weeks.
Thank you for your kind attention.

Respectfully,

(Mrs.) Dorothy Cameron
