FEDERAL HOUSING ADMINISTRATION WASHINGTON STEWART MCDONALD ADMINISTRATOR April 3, 1940 The Honorable Marriner S. Eccles Chairman, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System Washington, D« C« Dear Mr. Secies: The FHA!s moving picture entitled "Homes of Today," which is now being shown in 7,800 theatres, has sufficient public appeal to be featured in a great many places, as you will note by the photograph of the Capitol Theatre in Atlanta. Theatres throughout the country are more or less following this program, which is, of course, without cost to the Government and is an incentive to home ownership, particularly to the construction of small homes for people of modest incomes. Sincerely yours, Stewart McDonald, Administrator. 'HOMES OF TOD FOR SMALL liCOl EXTRA FHA \ \ PI I <4 CXTM flMRXl H0USIN6 M>MI«BT(UUION I— !— IS ^ ^ * •MI O o . f
