Honorable M. S. Eccles, Chairman,
Board of Governors of the Federal
Reserve System,
Washington, D. C,
My dear Mr. Eccles:
I have been somewhat puzzled
by reading the newspaper accounts of the new
stabilization agreement entered into by the
Treasury Department, If it is not betraying any
confidence, I would be interested in knowing at
least the principles on which this supposed
agreement rests.
Very truly yours,
