December 9> 1940•

Mr. E. Hultman,
715 Hazelton Street,
Flint, Michigan.
Dear Mr. Hultman:
Chairman Eccles requested me to
acknowledge receipt of your note of December
7 with regard to his recent talk before the
National Industrial Conference Board.
Your comments are evidently based
upon newspaper reports which were erroneous
and misleading. In order that what he actually
said might be available, the Chairman thereupon
decided to make public the text of his talk,
copy of which I enclose.
Very truly yours,

Elliott Thurston,
Special assistant
to the Oiiairmtin«

enclosure
