My dear Mr. Eccles:
I wrote you under date of
December 28th that I expected to be in
Washington on January 28th for the Business
Advisory Council meeting, but would stay
until the 29th to see you.
I now find that I will be
in Washington on the 27th also. Would it be
possible for you to have lunch with me on the
27th?

Mr* Sceles has asked me to advise you, in reply to
your letter of January 15th, that he is going to be tiid up
in & Board meeting all day on Wednesday, the 27th, and therefore it will not be possible for him to have luncheon with you
or see you at any time during the day* It may be that he can
arrange to see you the evening of the 27th or sometime during
the day on Thursday, the 28th*
If you will get in touch with hia upon your arrival,
a definite time for an appointment can be arranged*

his arrival in Washington relative to arranging a
definite appointment.
