Apropos of your conversation of the other day with
Congressman Fred Crawford, there is a letter in todays issue
of the Wall Street Journal (March 8, 1944), at page 6, under
"Letters to the Editor*, entitled "No Gold to Spare!*, written
by a Mr, Sam Green. It is so in line with one of the points
you made to him that I thought perhaps you might wish to see
it or have it called to his attention*
