Eccles First Security Corporation Ogden, Utah Dear Sir: In accordance with your request, Va Lois Egbert has sent me copies of two of your recent addresses. Please let me assur e you that I appreciate your thoughtfulness. There is a good deal of food for thought in this material, and I especially agree with the view you expressed in your address to the Agricultural College, where you state "Instend, we have given our blessing and backing to reactionary governments that lack the confidence and support of the people. We have failed to realize that a large part of the world is in a state of economic revolution which we view as comrunist inspired and try to buy off with dollars or settle through war." To me this is the crux of the whole trouble that we find ourselves in today. I certainly enjoyed meeting you while in Salt Lake and hope that I will have the pleasure of visiting with you again sometime in the near future. http://fraser.stlouisfed.org/GOODS • M O V IN G • PA C K IN G • STO RAGE Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Yours truly, / MERCHANDISE • STO RAGE • POOL CARS • RESHIPPING
