DETROIT

Mr. Marriner S. Eccles,
Chairman, Board of Governors,
Federal Reserve Bank,
Washington, D.C.
Dear Marriner:
I have recently been invited to attend a luncheon
of The Economic Club of Detroit, where you will be
the speaker, on February 20. This club, as you
have probably been advised, includes the most
representative industrial and financial men in
Detroit, and I am also told that they have especially
invited a considerable number of bankers from the
various cities in the State.
In the event that your plans would permit such an
arrangement, I would like very much to arrange either
a breakfast or dinner for you on the day you are in
the city. It would thus be possible for you to meet
a number of individuals in a more personal way, and
I would be very happy to be your host on such an
occasion.
If Mrs. Eccles should accompany you, we would of
course be delighted to have her as a guest in our
home.

Sincerely yours,
