My Dear Mr. EcclesfHaving read much of late in the press of the Bankers, and especially your address at New Orleans , I feel constrained to write you a few lines just to let you know the people in the "back: country'' are looking to you with much the same feeling that takes hold of a long ship wrecked sailor when he sees a sail come over the horizon and bearing directly down on him . 3rour contest with If you can be supported to win the victory over the thieves in high places of finance, our Country may yet regain the losses sustained from their plundering and clean them out of their positions of power . By every device known to their trade they are now endeavoring to BOOM the-Stock Market, so they can complete the financial ruin of the Country, which was almost consumated in ’29 and that too by the aid of the Banking fraternity. TES MARKET has become the worst GAMBLING BELL in the country and the Country would be best served if .it were abolished lock stock and barrel. Likewise the right of the House of Morgan and all his allies should be barred from all sorts of Banking. The Morgan influence has been a veritable Black Plague to every industrial enterprise be has had any con nection with from the NEW EAVEN down to the present day and the same m y be said of his allies in the MONEY TRUST. , All efforts of the President to relieve distress and restore the Country to normal business activity are nullified by the money trust operation, and in a few days every dollar by the Government expended finds its way,as all other previous dollars of the people have gone, into the pockets of the same little clique, There has been no change in the system, by which the masses are plundered by the few, and it is quite as reasonable to expect returning confidence in the Country and resumption of normal business activity, as to expect returning confidence in the nan who at gun point has robbed you of your life's savings, and who at the same time being immune to the punishments laid by the law to other citizens , he laughs in your face and persues his devilish, work unmolested. A .3 - » o »ni> 2 In the humble opinion of a plain loyal citizen whose forefathers gave their lives in support of this Government, the principles for which you are contending lies at the very foundation of the money and credit system which was planned by the framers of the Constitution , but the benefits of the plan have never for long at.tended the people. Special privalege has ever tried to use the money of the country far its own selfish ends . Yours is the battle of the giants of this century, and if you lose, the IT02TEY TRUST - the Uorgans- lielons-'Tuhn LoebsRockefellers and their allies, will continue to plunder the Country as they have in the past, with TTarget Manipulation, .Watered Stocks Re-organizations, 'Bankruptcies, and all the other devices known to their trade, and winded at by forms of law , for he who controls the money of this country has controlled, and will continue to control the very government itself. Can the people■again secure to themselves the blessings of life liberty and the persuit of happiness by the means provided in the Constitution ? Can it be done in the short time allowed before actual starvation overtakes and drives them to rebellion ? If you win out, it will be a Sign in the Heavens to raise the hopes of millions who are now without hope of any means to meet and overthrow their plunderers. What can I do to help you win ? I am frequently on the public platform and would greatly appreciate information on money and banking .and the credit system also such of your published articles as are available . With hearty good wishes for your success, I am Your Fellow Citizen, Chairman xxxxxxxx November 20, 1935* Mr. Walter B. Thompson, ¿15 Citizens Bank building, Pasadena, California. My dear Mr. Thompson: I have read with interest your letter of November 15th and I appreciate very much your approval of my efforts.
