Gov.Marriner S.Eccles,
Federal Reserve Board,
Washington, D. C.
Dear Gov.iiecles:
I was very much gratified to receive a copy of your
splendid address delivered before the Bankers ConĀ
vention in Few Orleans. I have read this with conĀ
siderable interest and agree with you in the position
you have taken.
I am convinced after a number of years of experience,
that it is a splendid t ling for the officers of the
Federal Reserve System to make addresses of this kind,
and t o inform the public as to the condition of the
Government finance, and especially of the attitude of
the federal Reserve System on public matters.
I hope that I may have the pleasure of discussing this
with you at some future date, and in the meantime, please
be assured of my interest and willingness to cooperate
with you in every particular.

Yours very sincerely,
