Dear Marriner:
I have had the pleasure of reading the
address which you gave at the American Bankers
Association meeting.
I assure you that I enjoyed
it immensely. X regard it as a masterful exposi
tion of important matters of deep concern, not only
to bankers but to the whole American people. I wish
that it could oe much more widely distributed and
read than it is apt to be. It would broaden every
one's outlook and understanding of issues that are
to press for solution and determination in the very
near future. I am passing the manuscript around
among some of my friends who have said they would be
interested in reading it.
With kindest regards, I am

you ten more copies of it.
