Mr. Marriner S. Eccles
Governor, Federal Reserve Bank
Washington, D. C.
Dear Mr. Eccles:
I regretted that train reservations forced me to leave
the meeting at Kansas City a few minutes before its close.
I did wish to express to you the extent to which I appreĀ
ciated the opportunity of meeting you personally and also
to tell you how much I enjoyed the remarks and comments
you made at Kansas City. They were certainly enlightening, thought-provoking, and definite.
