Dear Mr. Eccles:
In accordance with the correspondence
of last November, Mr. Frank H. Neely, Chairman of
the Board, and Mr. John Boman, President of the
Atlanta Lawyers Club, have both reminded me that
they are keenly anticipating your visit on March
10.
You will recall that the Board of Directors
of this Bank meets at 10:30 a. m., and the lawyers
Club at 5:30 p.m.
I, personally, feel that you will get
a great kick out of being with the Atlanta Lawyers
Club.
They are an extremely alert group, some
of the best minds practicing in the South.
As soon as I hear definitely from you,
I should like to arrange your reservations here,
and entertainment.
Hoping that you will be able to be with:
us, I am

Harold T. Patterson.

Honorable Marriner S. Eccles,
Board of Governors of the
Federal Reserve System,
Washington 25, D. C.

February 6, 1950

Dear Mr. Patterson:
I appreciate your writing to me on
February 1 giving me additional information
relative to my proposed visit to Atlanta on
March 10.
According to my present plans, 1 will
leave Washington by plane at 6:^0 p.m. on the
evening of March 9, arriving in Atlanta at 9?4-0
p.m. (unless plane schedules change in the mean
time). This will make it possible for me to at
tend the 10:30 a.m. meeting of the o0ard of
Directors of the £>ank as well as address the
Lawyers Club on that date.
Sincerely yours,

M. S. Iccles.

Mr. Harold T. Patterson,
General Counsel,
Federal Reserve *>anic of Atlanta,
Atlanta 3, Georgia.
