Mr. Marriner S. Eccles
Federal Reserve Building
Washington, D. C.
Dear Mr. Eccles*
I am delighted that you find it possible
to address the members of the City Club at noon on
Saturday, April 21st.
Mr. Sidney, no doubt, has told you someĀ
thing about the City Club and I will be glad to supĀ
ply any additional information you may need.
You are free to t alk on any subject you
choose and it is not necessary to have a prepared
manuscript.
Our speakers usually take about fortyfive minutes and use the remaining time on the air
for questions.
I would appreciate it if you would
suggest a title for your talk and send it sometime
before April 10th.
With very kind regards, I am

C harles VV. L a w r e n c e , President
