PRESIDENT

April 13, 1951
Honorable Marriner S. Eccles
c/o Federal Reserve Board
Federal Reserve Building
Washington, D. C.
Dear Mr. Eccles:
This is a note to thank you most sincerely

for your trip to Denver and the excellent address
which you gave before the Mile High Club while you
were here.
Many of the members have since spoken to me
and have asked me to express to you their appreciation
for the constructive talk which you gave.
We all hope that it will not be too long

again before you will find it possible to come to Den
ver. Many of your old friends and the new ones which
you made while here would appreciate a similar oppor
tunity to hear your views upon the nation's fiscal
policies.
Again, on behalf of the entire membership of
the club may I express our sincere appreciation for
your excellent address.
Sincerely yours

Mr. Hudson Moore, Jr., President,
The Walter S. Gheesman Realty Company,
1624. Tremont Place - Republic Building,
Denver, Colorado.
Dear Mr. Moores
It was thoughtful of you to write me on April
13 relative to my recent visit to Denver to address the
Mile High Club. I am pleased to learn that many members
of the Club have expressed approval of my address and felt
that what I had to say was constructive.
It was a pleasure to meet and talk with so many
of my friends in Denver, as well as to meet others who I
hope will become friends of mine.
I will appreciate it if you will express to the
Mile High Club members my thanks for the opportunity to ad
dress them.

With kihd regards,
Sincerely yours,

M. S. Eccles.
