My secretary tells me that your office advised her that they were to ■e the guests of Mr. Kemper, your President, and that therefore no charge would be made for the tickets. I am writing Mr. Kemper today, expressing my gratitude. However, I rxjuld like to say that in requesting permission for them to attend, I did so fully with the intention of paying for their tickets.
