Honorable Marriner S.Eccles
Chairman Bd.of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
Wa shington,D.C.
Dear Governor Eccles:
Being a Utahn and an admirer of yours I was pleased
to know that you will be here in Detroit next Monday to talk
to The Economic Club of Detroit.
I shall be present, and
I certainly hope to have the opportunity of at least shaking
your hand again.
You may not remember me.
Until a year ago I was
associated with your former banking student Orval W.Adams,
in the Utah State Natio*naT" Bank. ^“T*"spenT^r little tUHSr-- ""
with you on a train to California quite some years ago E.G.Bennett and O.W.Adams were on the same train.
I see our mutually good friend Howard Stoddard
quite often.
He is doing a good job, as usual.
