Ogden, Utah Dear Marriner: Your spot on our program has been set at the beginning of the afternoon session, Monday, May 14* As our meetings run promptly, you will be on at 2: to 2:15pm. We have discussed this with Randle. He agrees this will not crowd you, since he is arranging to see that you, A1 Williams, and he get to the airport in good time (only fifteen minutes from downtown to Love Field Airport). In scheduling our different speakers, we have assigned you from forty minutes to an hour. If an hour is not sufficient time we will extend it to suit your needs — for we do not want you to feel hurried in developing your theme. The Baker Hotel will have accommodations for you, ready for occupancy by noon on Sunday, May 13. Soon (within ten days) we would like the title of your address to appear in our official program. Also, will you ask your secretary to please send us a little biographical data for use in connection with program publicity? We are looking forward eagerly to having you with us in Texas next month. Cordially and sincerely, S e c r e t a r y WAP: t April 23, 1951. Mr. ¥. A. Philpott, Jr., Secretary, Texas Bankers Association, Dallas, Texas. Dear Mr. Philpott: In accordance with his letter of April 17, Mr. Eccles has asked me to forward to you a copy of his biographical sketch which appears in "Who's Who" — it is enclosed herewith. I was under the impression that a similar sketch had been forwarded to you about two weeks ago, but in checking correspondence I find I overlooked sending it. I hope my failure to furnish it earlier has not greatly inconvenienced you. Sincerely yours, Va Lois Egbert, ‘Secretary to Mr. M. S. Eccles. Enclosure
