THE ATTORNEY G EN ERAL
W A SH IN G T O N

December 7, 1935.

Dear Eccles:
Permit me to express to you my veiy sincere
appreciation for your courtesy in sending me a copy
of your New Orleans address of the fourteenth of
November.
It is a corking speech and admirably dealt
with what must have been a somewhat ticklish situation.
I read the speech with great care and found it amazingly
instructive.
With warm regards,
y Sincep^ly yours,
y w ? K .

Honorable Marriner S. Eccles,
Chairman,
Federal Reserve Board,
Washington, D. C.
