Your address punctuated by most timely admonitions and salient facts should he in the hands of every voting citizen of the United States, for I am thoroughly convinced that a careful perusal of your m an y citations would serve to get the public oriented for a safe and secure position pending our approaching general elections. For I am fearful that nothing of major import "by the way of corrections are to be expected pending that approaching election period. I was especially happy to see you honored by the College conferring upon you a Honorary Doctor's Degree — you fully merited that because of your outstanding service to the school as well as to the State. Your very flattering letter of June 5, expressing approval and appreciation of my address to the graduating class, made me very happy. Your approval of my efforts means a great deal to me because of the great respect I have for you. I am glad to enclose herewith a copy of my address to the graduates, as you request.
