Mr. Marriner S. Eccles, Chairman
Board of Governors of the
Federal Reserve System
Washington, D. C.
Dear Mr. Eccles:
First, let me say how much I enjoyed your talk this
morning before the New York State Bankers Association. It was
one of the best you have ever given. I heard many favorable
comments on it at luncheon time.
The Trust Division's Mid-Winter Trust Conference
will be held in New York February 3, Uy and 5. On Wednesday,
February 4, we are having a session devoted to a discussion on
common trust funds. I have invited Walter Wyatt to participate
in that program and we are very anxious to have him. President
Richard Stockton of the Trust Division and I both hope that Walter
will be able to be with us. There are some questions that have
arisen in regard to common trust funds and Walter is the one man
to answer them with authority.
With best regards, I am
Cordially yours,

Deputy Manager
