Dear Alex:
I was sorry to hear that you suffered a
heart attack last summer, but glad to know that you
are better and hope you will keep on improving in
the Florida sunshine.
As you requested in your note of January
23, I am enclosing copies of Regulations T and U,
with amendments, and also a copy of the statement I
released at the time of the board's action in increasing margin requirements to 100 per cent. I
appreciate your kind references and trust you will
be of the same mind after reading the full text of
