My dear Governor Eccles:
I have read your speech several times that was delivered
in Hew England before the Hew England Sank Management Council in
Boston (that is, the Moff-the-recordM speech), and like it very much,
ecause it is so much to the point.
Will you give me permission, t<J "kell the substance of it in
one of my forthcoming hooks; and also will you give me permission to
use it in toto in a second forthcoming hook of readings on Economics?
I am sure it will he satisfactory with you for me to. 4© this, hut I
like to get permission in advance nevertheless. X shall give you full
credit.
