BOARD

Mr- Frederic A. Delano

I was talking today with Mr* Frederic A. Delano, who
was outlining to me the work of the Central Housing Committee,
of which he is chairman and Mr. Grimm vice chairman. In the
course of the conversation he spoke very favorably of you and
of your work here and said that he had been following with
great interest the accounts of the A. B. A. convention in
New Orleans.
He asked me to tell you that he would like to get in
touch with you after you returned to Washington. He wants you
to come up to his house to dinner some evening (as you perhaps
know,Mr. Preston Delano lives with him) to talk over Federal
Reserve matters. One of these matters is that he wishes to
make way for a younger man on the Board of the Richmond bank,
where he is a Class C director and deputy chairman.
