Hoticed by the paper where you had been re-appointed
to your respective position by President Roosevelt. Congradulations*

how you liked the change. We see a great number of the old
crowd from Ogden and we enjoy reminising*
We have lived here for some years. Enjoy the country a lot
but do miss you all from Utah and Southern Idaho.tfewere sorry
to hear of our old friend, Bill Boras death, but I guess
that is something we must expect.
We have followed out with a great deal of interest the doings
in Washington and often note that our Western men are doing
a real job back there.

Dear Doc:
I was certainly surprised to receive your letter
of February 10 in which you congratulated me on my reappointment. Naturally it pleased me a lot to have this
expression from an old friend.
No doubt you and Rouie are dyed-in-the-wool
Californians by now. However, in that part of the qountry
you frequently encounter old friends from Ogden. AS for
Maysie and myself, we are beginning to feel somewhat like
veteran Vmshingtonians as we have been living here now for
over six years. Nevertheless, contrary to you folks, we
do not feel that we are permanently located and still look
forward to returning to the West when this tour of duty is
over.
With best wishes to you both in which Larry joins,
I am
Yours sincerely,
