Mr. Eccles considers his collection "the most complete
record of twenty years in the economic history of the country." It
runs from 1920 to 1951* and contains material on the banking holiday
of 1933 as seen in Utah, on the Banking Act of 1935 and on the BoardTreasury "accord" of 1951•
The collection includes the following*
10 - 12 running feet of bound volumes of memoranda,
correspondence, etc., properly indexed
13 volumes of press clippings, arranged chronologically
and indexed by time and place, covering speeches,
press releases, testimony before Congress, etc.
5 - 6 file cabinets of personal letters and correspondence.
