K M T (1869 - 1954) The papers of Fred I* Kent, expert in foreign exchange matters, director of the Division of Foreign Exchange of the Federal Reserve Board, Deputy Uovernor of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and active in setting up its Foreign Exchange Division, are housed in the International Finance Section of the Princeton University Library. They were deposited by his son, Warner Kent, in the spring of 1955 at the urging of this Committee, A 22 page index of these papers was compiled by Mr. Kent's secretary, Miss Dorothy Warden, in the spring of 1955, and a copy is in the Committee office. 14 pages concern periodicals in which Mr. Kentfs articles appeared. The other 8 are appended. Linear feet of shelf space occupied: 24 Approximate number of items: 24,000 Some books from Mr. Kent's library, which were rejected by Princeton, were deposited in the New York University Library at the same time. A copy of Mr. Kent's incompleted memoirs (147 pages) is in this office. No special restrictions have been put on these papers. Publication of anything in them would be subject to common law copyright. Otherwise, access to them will be granted by the Princeton Library according to the usual Library regulations.
