The papers of Carl Snyder, author, economist with the
Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which concern his service in the
Bank are on deposit with this Committee. They contain exchanges of
memoranda between Mr. Snyder and Governor Strong covering the period
1921 to August, 1928. They were "rediscovered" by Miss Burnett in
the Reference Library of the New York Federal Reserve Bank after
having been removed from a storage vault during file rearrangement,
and were turned over to this Committee on May 10, 1955•
