A small collection of the papers of Edmund Piatt, Vice
Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board from 1920 to 1930, chairman of
the Banking and Currency Committee of the U. S. House of Representatives in the 66th Congress, is deposited with this Committee. The
collection spans the years 1913 to 1933 on the subject of branch
banking. It was a gift from Mrs. Edmund Piatt in January, 1955.
