Y. by the wish of President Roosevelt, Most of them reached the library in 194-7* The collection includes books, pictures and memorabilia as well as Albany and White House papers and a vast personal correspondence. Linear feet of shelf space occupied: Approximate number of items: Papers that are open (about 85% of the entire collection) may be used by qualified students seeking them for research purposes. Literary rights should be discussed with the librarian if any quotation from the papers is contemplated.
