PIERRE JAY

The papers of Pierre Jay, banker, Chairman and Federal
Reserve Agent of the Federal Reserve Bank of JMew fork, Daves Plan
official, are mostly incorporated in the general correspondence files
of the Federal Reserve Bank of New lork. A small collection from
his home was given to the Bank shortly after his death by Mrs. Jay,
Some of this material -was assigned to the library, some to the
correspondence files• Documents relating to the Daves Plan are kept
separate in the correspondence files and may be used by qualified
students who obtain permission from the Bank.
