VAN HORNESVILLE, N E W Y O R K 13475 19 June 1975 Bear Bob: Following up the letters which Mildred Adams Kenyon and I wrote you late in May, I am enclosing xerographic copies of a score or so of pages from her text, with certain corrections or annotations bearing my initials. More often than not the corrections are minor involving names or dates with which I am familiar as Mildred was not* A few are merely corroborative or answer questions which Mildred posed herself. More serious are those which deal with lapses of memory or confusion of sequences on Mr. Young 1 s part y especially in the early interviews. By and large his memory seems to have been sharpened as the interviews proceeded, and those with my father called for very minor changes indeed. Nevertheless, I have made copies of all pages even when the changes involved a single word. The only pager I have despaired of getting straight without redictating concern^ Mr. Young f s recollections of the creation of the Radio Corporation of America in 1919*^ He had most of the facts in mind, but the sequence of the moves he made is hopelessly confused. Since Josephine and I have completed the chapter dealing with these events after the most painstaking kind of research, I thought it best to send along my own version of this page, with a copy going to Mildred. I am also sending her a copy of this letter, but shall not trouble her with the other pages unless she wants them. In any event, I share her hope that this will be helpful to others who may consult her recorded interviews, which I for one have found exceedingly useful. Perhaps this will help to repay you for the trouble you took in sending me copies of the relevant sections of her papers. Faithfully yours, Everest Case / Mr. Robert Calkins c/o Brookings Institution 1775 Massachusetts Avenue Washington, D.C.
