October 22, 1954 Internal Memorandum Conversation with Mr. Thomas Navin of the Harvard Business School (See memorandum of conversation with Mr. John Chapman for information concerning Mr. Navin) Mr. Navin is a young professor in the Harvard Business School. He has been writing at least one of the Business Histories concerned with a study of ¥hitinsvillej an industrial town in Massachusetts. This study has been published in the Harvard Business Series. Mr. Navin was interested in knowing about the project. He suggested the names of Mr. Jules Bogen of New York University and Mr. James S. Buesenberry, Associate Professor of Economics at the Littauer School in Harvard. Mr. Havin also said that he would be glad to send information concerning this project to a journal which economic historians read. I promised to send him whatever publicity we finally decided to circulate on this project.
