Movember 10, 1954 Internal Memorandum Conversation -with Mr. Andrew Kamark regarding the Goldenweiser Papers* Washington, D.C. Because I had not heard from Mr. Kamark or concerning the Goldenweiser Papers since sunaaer, I called this son-in-law of Mr. Goldenweiser on the phone. He said that he had talked to Waiter Stewart just the previous day at some length* Mr. Stewart thinks that the papers should go to the Library of Congress, but he has certain ideas about how they might be safeguarded and under yhat circumstances they might be used. He wants to talk to the Committee about these at its Princeton meeting, and he wants to think about the problems further. Under those circumstances, I thanked Mr. Kamark and said I would make a note of this and would be glad to hear what their decisions were. The most cheerful thing one can say is that Mr. Stewart seems to have this in hand and that there is progress being made, no matter how slow. V
