v"f Internal Memorandum March 1, 1954 Collection of Papers of Mr. Walter Lichtenstein The papers of Mr. Walter Lichtenstein have been divided between the Baker Library (Harvard Business School) and the Widener Libazy (University proper). About forty volumes of outgoing correspondence on pink sheets and bound in grey have been sent to the Baker Library and with the® a mass of incoming correspondence. Mr. Robert Lovett is now at work coordinating outgoing and incoming sheets. To Widener Library, according to a letter to Mr. Arthur Cole, went all of Mr. Lichtenstein1 s lldiaries and more personal papers.11 As Mr. Lichtenstein at one time was in Europe for Mir. Coolidge btaying books for Harvard, it is assumed that much of this material concerns not bankijqg but Harvard books. This is, however, not certain. A box of the Federal Advisory Gouncil minutes of meetings from 1926 on is supposed to be sent to Professor Cole.
