of the Economic Policy Commission,
April, 1942.

A Report

This report presents estimates of the si#e of the
var program to be financed and discusses various methods
of raising the needed funds. It discusses the role of
the banks in var financing and the probable effect of var
financing on loans and investments, deposits?, capital
funds, and the ratios of capital funds to deposits and
to loans and investments. The estimates are through
June 30, 19A3.
