American political scientist

Carter Goodrich was professor of economics at Columbia University from 1931 to 1963. He worked for the U.S. government in various positions, including advisor to the Resettlement Administration, advisor to the Social Security Board, and United States Labor Commissioner in Geneva. From 1936 to 1946, he served as a member of the International Labour Organization, and as a member of the Economic Depression delegation of the League of Nations from 1928 to 1945.
